At Obsidian Citadel Protocol, our foundation is built on the core values of integrity, resilience, and community. Proudly rooted in our Veteran and Native American heritage. We bring that same unwavering dedication to our web and software development projects, and most importantly, to our team. We know that the best digital solutions are built by people who feel trusted and supported, which is why we champion a remote-first culture with highly flexible hours. We give you the autonomy to do your best work on your schedule, ensuring you have the work-life balance you need to thrive both personally and professionally. Join us, and be part of a mission driven team that respects your time, values your expertise, and supports your growth.
We are not your typical tech startup. Built by veterans and grounded in Native American heritage, our culture prioritizes impact over optics. If you are looking for ping-pong tables and vanity metrics, look elsewhere. If you want to solve complex logistical and infrastructural challenges, you belong here.
The codebase serves the mission, not the other way around. We check our egos at the door and build tools that operators can rely on in contested environments. Functionality and security trump flashiness every time.
Our leadership understands the friction of legacy systems because they've lived it. We operate with military precision, clear command structures, and an uncompromising dedication to supporting those on the front lines.
Grounded in Native heritage, we build tech that protects data sovereignty. We respect the autonomy of our partners and architect solutions that keep their data localized, private, and entirely under their control.
We demand excellence, and we equip our team accordingly. We provide the resources, autonomy, and support necessary to execute at the highest level.
Work from anywhere in the US. We care about output and security, not seat time.
Top-tier health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
We provide the budget for secure, high-performance tactical computing setups.

Lead the development of our proprietary disconnected architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data synchronization between offline local instances and secure cloud environments for our Sovereign partners.
Design and fortify the security perimeters of our B2B and small business deployments. Experience with DOD IL4/IL5 requirements and hardware-level encryption is highly desired.
Spearhead our Go-To-Market strategy within Native American Economic Development Corporations (EDCs) and federal defense sectors. Familiarity with tribal sovereignty law is a major plus.
A launchpad for ambitious developers. Assist our senior architects in deploying disconnected infrastructure and writing resilient front-end code for mission-critical interfaces.
Project-based engagements for elite penetration testers. Challenge our architecture through rigorous vulnerability assessments and adversarial simulations.
Draft detailed, compliance-ready documentation for our defense and tribal partners. Deep knowledge of DOD frameworks (NIST, CMMC) is highly advantageous.
Our "Split-Brain" architecture relies on flawless data reconciliation when offline nodes reconnect. Architect distributed database solutions (CRDTs, event sourcing) to guarantee zero data loss during critical sync phases.
Design high-contrast, low-distraction, and accessible interfaces for operators deployed in high-stress, low-bandwidth, and contested environments. Prioritize utility over flash.
Translate complex logistical workflows and sovereign legal frameworks into actionable technical sprints. Bridge the gap between tactical defense requirements and our engineering team.
Software failure in the field is not an option. Build rigorous, automated stress-testing pipelines to validate our offline capabilities and zero-trust security perimeters.
Provide highly specialized legal oversight navigating DoD IL4/IL5 requirements alongside Native American Economic Development Corporation (EDC) limited waivers and sovereign frameworks.
The backbone of our internal logistics. Support executive leadership with precision by managing daily operations, secure communications, scheduling, and strategic cross-departmental coordination.
